Material Submission Guidelines

Ads must use Bahasa Melayu or English and ensure full consistency between the ad content and landing pages, including product details and pricing. All ads must comply with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Content Code and relevant consumer protection laws. TikTok strictly prohibits political advertising, misleading claims (like miracle cures or unrealistic promises), and offensive or culturally insensitive content. Ads targeting regulated industries such as finance must be backed by proper licensing from Malaysian authorities. Creatives must meet TikTok’s quality standards—videos should be clear, appropriate in length (5–60 seconds), and avoid pop-ups or overlays that can’t be dismissed. Additionally, advertisers must not use copyrighted material without permission or negatively compare brands.
